Psoriasis has become a
serious issue these days. It may be taken more seriously than just an
inflammatory skin condition. A white scale is also visible at the place of the
patch of redness. The white scale often seen as a layer thick, white and crusty
scales formed due to the increased turnover of skin cells.
Psoriasis can be of a few
types depending on the sypmtoms: Plaque psoriasis (psoriasis vulgaris),
Flexural psoriasis (inverse psoriasis), Guttate psoriasis, Pustular psoriasis,
Psoriasis of a fingernail, Psoriatic arthritis, Erythrodermic psoriasis. However, the good thing is that it is not
contagious or cancerous. A person having psoriasis might not be allergic to
anything.
